  • Yesterday the trail was clogged with nortbounders but there were only 2 other hikers at hiker site. #
  • They tried to leave yesterday but got lost and came back. #
  • With the freeway, the trains, and the people, Castle Craigs State Park is the loudest place to sleep. #
  • But I'm still having a hard time getting out of here. #

  • While I was perched above the trail, a coyotee came through the woods and started hiking down the trail. It didn't see me. #
  • It's hailing big hail. So I'm going to stay under this big tree on top of the ridge. #
  • Just ran into a couple I met in 2008 at the Canadian border. They're doing a flippity flop flop hike. Mile 1706.3 3 bars. #
  • I've been doing some barefoot hiking. The trail is mostly soft. #

  • I’m in a sad motel room in Portland, Or with a messed up computer. #
  • First the computer had a virus. Then I spilled a cup of tea on it. #
  • Then I replaced the keyboard. Next I reloaded windows and a bunch of Dell drivers. #
  • Then a guy came and replaced the mother board. For one brief shining moment my computer worked. #
  • Even though I loaded the pay version of my viruses and spyware program, I got another infection. #
  • A smart person would toss the laptop in the dumpster and never think about computers again. #
  • But I keep trying. #
