  • WA1216 water is off trail. Did not find it. #

  • Water 1212 is a crapy off trail pond called Summit Lake. #
  • Charged by mountain bikers on the PCT! #
  • Though WA1182 is off trail and difficult to get to, there are many unmarked, on trail water sources north. #

  • Very cold and windy night up on the crest. #

  1. Really enjoying hearing about your hike! I’m getting ready to take baby steps into backpacking, and your blog has really helped me prepare. Thanks for the trail twittering– I feel like I understand a lot more about how things really work out there, like getting water, resupplying, finding your way when you’re lost, etc.
